Desktop Meme

Eric and Flynn tagged me for the desktop meme. This is what our desktop looks like at the moment. My mum likes to have her icons quite big so she can see them easily. She needs to tidy them up though! She changes the picture every few months. Sadly the current one is not a picture of handsome me, it is a picture she took in Derbyshire on holiday this summer, one evening when dusk was falling and she thought the light and the row of trees were really pretty. You can see some Derbyshire sheep too. You can see there is a link to "Shared Pictures", that leads to a folder full of pictures of me!

That is the desktop when my mum is logged in to this computer, but if my dad is logged in, it has a different picture and looks like this:

He usually switches between pictures of cars he photographs at classic car shows. I think it is time he had a picture of me there!

Here's what you do:
1) Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. Here’s how to do it: Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). 2.Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and doing a Paste (CTRL + V). If you wish, you can “edit” the image before saving it. (If you have a Mac, it's different. You just open the Screenshot programme and click on photo and that's it!)
3.Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.
4.Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktops as well. I am not tagging anyone because most cats have done this already, but if you haven't, consider yourself tagged!
5.Add your name to the list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

Comments:
Hi Eric. Mom likes your picture. She noticed the sheep right off. Mom says the boy would love to go on that field trip with your mom's difficult class. He loves Egyptian stuff. And he is well behaved, so maybe he could help the others to behave too. Mom thinks the car is cool. Dad loves classic cars. He knows all about them. When he starts talking about them, sometimes mom's eyes glaze over. Oops, probably shouldn't have said that with him sitting right next to us.

That's a nice peaceful picture with the sheep Eric. Your mum will probably be glad to sit and look at it and relax furr a while after taking the difficult class to the museum.
Tell her we said GOOD LUCK!!

It's funny. All the beans love the countryside with sheep grazing in the fields and tractors & cars.I must admit,I like those sheep.I wonder if they are anything like the Serta sheep?

Hi again, Eric. Yes, I am the one who sent you the email about the nasty spam on your comments. Bad people. Roxy weighs 18 pounds and Lucky weighs 14. So I think you are bigger than both of them. Don't be afraid, they won't hurt you. I think you are gorgeous and they think you you are a cool. They would never hurt one of their cat friends. Come visit again, they won't bite, I promise. Lucyky would probably try to lick you to pieces.

Roxy's mom

Mom loves dat piksher with da sheep. She likes sheep, prolly cuz her grampa hadded dem on da farm when she was a little gerl.

Will your mum make them walk all one-dimensional and flat?

Those are really neat desktops. My Lady really likes the old car.

That is so funny how your Mom and Dad switch pictures on the computer...

Your mom's desktop is very pretty Eric, but too bad it's not a picture of you.

In Berlin, there are lots of wonderful things to see, depending on what your humans are interested in. A great way to see the city is to take a tour bus, which gives you an overview, and then they can see which places they want to vist. The Berlin Egyptian Museum is a great place to visit - they have a famous bust of Nefertiti there. There is, of course, the Reichstag - the German Parliament - and there are remnants of the Berlin wall to see, as well as some palaces.

Oh I hope she does have luck. I"d be happy to go help chaperone!

That's a very nice picture your Mom took that's on her desktop.

There was a classic car show on the isle of wight recently, my favourite is the Delorian from Back to the Future which I think lives on the Island.
