Farewell Daisy

I am sad to tell you that this morning my friend English Daisy went to the Rainbow Bridge. She had not been well for a long time and her mum and dad agreed with her v-e-t that it was time to help her to escape from pain. Daisy lived not far from us and my mum was able to visit her several times. Daisy was a shy little calico girlcat who loved getting fuss from her humans and sleeping in warm places. She wasn't keen to have other kitties in her house but she enjoyed hanging out with her guinea pig friends. No one is quite sure how old she was but she was probably about 15 or 16.

This is Daisy with her Gizzy Quilt.
A lovely tribute to Daisy has been posted over at the home of the Big Piney Woods Cats. Daisy's mum and dad are missing her very much. Please send them your thoughts and purrs. We will miss her too.

Comments:
